May Day Flowers

Our church decided to set up a booth at May Days here in Mineola this year and what better thing to add to the booth than SU awesome flowers from the big shot. It has been so much fun putting all this together.
If you don't have any plans this weekend. You should come to Mineola, May 6,7,8 there will be something for everyone any where from carnival rides, tons of booths, contest, games, and yes of course food to. =)

It was my first trip out with the SU group as we headed to Lafayette LA for the weekend. It was so much fun to be around so many ladies and men with the same passion of creativity. Being a demonstrator is awesome!

Painted Rose

This is what we did at our last technique class with the GIRLWHOSTAMPS GROUP. I can't wait to finish what we started at our next class. It's always so much fun. If you are intrested in going let me know friends are always welcome.

Quarter Queen

I was so thrilled to receive the news in the mail;
I made quarter queen in the Stampshack Group.
It defiantly makes me want to keep
pressing forward with SU.
It is so much fun and I learn something new daily.

Treat Boxes with a Lily Flower Bundle

Step 1: you need your 5-petal flower punch and punch out two flowers
in whisper white card stock and cut out one petal on each flower.

Step 2: Glue the petals together where they meet up with one another
so you will have a three petal flower showing like the one above.

Step 3: Snip the bottom out of each flower.

Step 4: take your yoyo yellow and dob the middle of one flower,
then take your color spritzer tool and close to cocoa marker
and spritz both flowers.

Step 5: you will take your linen thread 2 4'' pieces. Twist and thread through.

Step 6: Use your paper piercing tool to curl the petal edges a bit.

My finished one in a bundle. The are so pretty and elegant. Love it!
